The GNHWPCA is in the final stages of constructing a steam turbine at the East Shore Water Pollution Abatement Facility (WPAF) that captures the waste heat from our incinerator to produce steam and generate electricity. When completed it is expected this turbine will produce 1/4 of the plant's electricity.
