Effective January 1, 2009, the GNHWPCA will no longer honor landlord/tenant agreements. All new GNHWPCA accounts will only be billed to the property owner. By year end, all existing tenant billed accounts will be transferred into the property owner's name and all billings will be sent directly to the property owner.

Any property that produces waste that is discharged into the sanitary sewer, including domestic waste, shall be charged the rates established by the GNHWPCA. No reduced rates or free sanitary sewer service shall be furnished to any person, property, or premises. In all cases, the owner of the property shall have final responsibility for the payment of sewer charges.
