Yale Campus/Trumbull Street Area Sewer Separation Projects

- Phase 1A: Trumbull Street Area

Construction for the Sewer Separation Project in the vicinity of Trumbull Street will continue into 2013. Once completed, the project will have separated approximately 140 acres of storm water from the sanitary sewer system. This will improve roadway drainage, reduce rainwater flows to the sewage treatment plant and increase the available capacity in the sanitary sewer system to reduce potential for backups.
